Dr. Mohammad AlBataineh

Assistant Professor Microbiology & Immunology,  College of  Medicine at University of Sharjah in United Arab Emirates.

He  received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery  (MBBS) degree, from Jordan University of Science and Technology. After he relocated  to the United States, Mohammad earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Microbiology & Immunology from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Upon graduation, Mohammad did his postdoctoral training at the world renowned Fungus Testing Laboratory, an international reference laboratory for clinical mycology, where he was the principal investigator for a project funded by an F-32 grant from the National Institute of Health. Mohammad then relocated to New Orleans to serve as the Director of International Research Programs and assistant professor, Queensland School of Medicine-Ochsner Clinical School, University of Queensland. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Department of Clinical Sciences/College of Medicine at University of Sharjah in United Arab Emirates.
